In compliance with Gov Nyesom Wike’s directive to Emohua local government chairman, Dr. Chidi Lloyd for the construction of a police station at the Emohua campus of the Rivers State University to improve security within and around the university campus, the Emohua local government council on Friday received the land document of the proposed site for the project.
The land document from the office of the surveyor general of Rivers State was received by the Executive Assistant ( Documentation and Strategy) to the council chairman, Hon. Victor Benjamin after the inspection of the propose site for the police station with representative of the surveyor general.
Construction work is expected to commence at the proposed site for the project directly opposite the Emohua campus of the Rivers State University, along the Emohua-Kalabari road in Emohua LGA, as soon as the necessary interface and documentation with the state police command were concluded.
